Share and Voice: Eco-Friendly Coffee

I've been hearing a lot about organic coffee lately but I never really thought much about it. I never really been exposed to anything like it. I know down in the cities there are a few places that carry it and it's a big hit. I thought that I've never been exposed to it until someone mentioned in class that we have it hear at UMD! So I decided to look into it. Why should we all decide to drink organic coffee??? I found this site that explains everything. Check it out!

  1. This article offered a lot of interesting information. The shade plantations are a really neat thing. I love that native creatures enhance the plantation which helps the eco-friendly coffee beans. My favorite part of the article was the very end, when she talks about why you should care if you have eco-friendly coffee beans or not. She relates it by saying that if you care about the existence of the plant and animal ecosystem or the lives of humans, then you should use eco-friendly coffee beans.

  3. I have not heard much of organic coffee...If UMD did get this product and match it with their organic, recyclable cups they have that would be a great start!
