Hello again!
I've come across this quick little article about 10 things we can do to help the environment. I think that it serves more as a reminder of all the small things we can be doing to help out. Most of them are free or very inexpensive which is always a plus for us college kids. Some of them I think can end up saving you money in the long run so it's something you guys should check out! Just follow the link below and tell me what you think!

I am starting to enjoy hearing all these different tips we can do because I am actually doing some of them. I use energy efficient light bulbs, and watch the temperature in my apartment. Granted I do not have a hybrid car, but I am starting to pay attention more to how often I am leaving the house. I try to make trips count, meaning getting as many things accomplished at one time as I can.
ReplyDeleteI never knew that refrigerators consume SO MUCH energy! No one really thinks about it, or at least I haven't before this! My current one is a pretty old model, and I wish that I could convince my brother to buy a new one... even tho it WOULD be expensive. It'd be so much more beneficial in the long run though.
ReplyDeleteI also never knew refrigerators consumed so much energy! It amazing these items in my apartment that I never think about are consuming and effecting our environment so much! Its like the giant elephant in the room!
ReplyDeleteThat site has a lot of useful information. It provides reasons and the action to doing what is good for the health of earth. Thanks for sharing it. This will come in handy.
